We are happy to announce that the Salzburg Computing Cluster (SCC) has reached the Alpha stage. This means that the hardware installation is complete, and we the first preliminary software setup has been done.

Over the next weeks, we are going to send out targeted invitations to selected users of different workgroups. This is going to provide us with valuable feedback before we proceed to the Beta stage and eventually the production phase.

So, expect to that things are going to break and change. But the SCC is coming!
